Senior Technical Program Manager, Core Algorithm
Overview
As Senior Engineering Program Manager at WHOOP, you guide the Core Algorithm Development team to deliver physiological algorithms that power member experiences. You’ll establish scalable development processes and coordinate across algorithm, data science, firmware, software, and validation teams to ensure high‑quality, timely releases. You drive end-to-end programs from roadmap through validation and release, enabling accurate, data‑driven insights. This role offers impact at scale in a fast-paced, mission‑driven environment where AI‑assisted workflows support faster delivery.
ResponsibilitiesLead program management for the Core Algorithm Development team and drive execution of algorithm initiativesDefine program plans, milestones, dependencies, and release schedules with cross‑functional partnersImprove development, validation, integration, and release processes for predictable execution across multiple programsCoordinate alignment on priorities, risks, deliverables, and timelines across engineering, product, and qualityIdentify technical and program risks early and drive mitigation plans to protect delivery commitmentsOversee algorithm validation efforts including data availability, testing strategies, performance evaluation, and release readinessDevelop program reporting and executive updates with operational metrics to visualize progress and resource needsChampion continuous improvement across planning, execution, and release to boost velocity and qualityFoster strong collaboration across technical teams while enabling engineers to focus on high‑impact work
