Bartender and Server

About Us: Pub Eighty Ate is a new and exceptional restaurant in the heart of Crystal Lake Illinois. Here you will experience an upscale gastro pub, bar and restaurant, providing elevated Plates and exceptional Pours. Located right by the train station in downtown Crystal Lake. We are looking for an enthusiastic servers and bartenders to provide an excellent guest experience. Bartenders will be expected to follow directions to our unique classic and innovative drinks exceeding customers’ needs and expectations. Servers will be expected to provide exemplary service to our guest. Compensation includes hourly wage and tips. *Responsibilities per Bartender and/or server* * Prepare alcohol or non-alcohol beverages for guest *(bartender only)* * Interact with customers, take orders, serve and prepare drinks in a timely manner. * Assess customers’ needs and preferences and make recommendations * Check customers’ identification and confirm it meets legal drinking age * Evaluate guest, to insure safe alcohol levels * Maintain a clean and safe work environment * Restock and replenish inventory and supplies * Stay guest focused and nurture an excellent guest experience * Comply with all food and beverage regulations * Responsibilities to include more at time of hire. *Skills* * 5 years plus experience in the food and beverage industry * Resume and proven working experience as a server and/or bartender * Knowledge in food service * Computer literacy * Positive attitude and excellent communication skills * Ability to get along with others * Ability to keep the service areas organized, stocked and clean * Relevant training certificate(s) Job Types: Full-time, Part-time Pay: $20.00 - $40.00 per hour Application Question(s): * Able to work weekends and Holidays, they are mandatory. Must display an upbeat positive attitude.
