Maintenance- Seagraves, TXThis is an hourly, non-exempt position. Day shift M-F 7:30 - 4:00 pm, with potential overtime, weekend work, and on call.Job Summary:Under limited supervision, perform mechanical repairs or fabrication in a safe, effective and efficient manner.Essential Job Functions:Conducts job tasks with a positive, safe attitude and maintains a safe work record.Knowledge of drives, motors, sheaves and general mechanical operationsResponsible for maintaining, troubleshooting and repairing machineryMaintains a good attendance recordWork rotating shifts of various lengths including weekends and holidaysWork on call scheduleMaintains good communication with all plant personnel. (Other shifts, departments and managers)Ability to understand and perform assigned job tasks easily and independently while flexible enough to work in team settings.Maintains good housekeeping and completes sanitation duties and paperwork as required.Conducts daily, weekly, monthly, quarterly or annual inspections, reporting any problems noted.Willing to be trained to work various jobs within the facilityMaintain documentation required to perform job dutiesMay perform other duties as assigned.Education/Training:All required ADM safety, food safety, quality and environmental trainingParticipate in company planned operations trainingEquipment training may include but not limited to JLG, forklift, Non-DOT truck, reach lift, etcExperience:1-2 years of fabrication/ welding experience (preferred)2+ years of industrial maintenance experienceKnowledge of, and compliance with all OSHA safety standardsWorking Conditions:Ambient conditions Hot or cold temperaturesTime spent: variesAtmosphere: dust (peanut - known allergen) and odorProtective clothing required: uniforms, hardhats, earplugs, safety glasses, hair restraints, steel-toed shoes, gloves and safety harness may be required based on task performedJob specific PPEWork overtime as neededPhysical Requirements:Occasionally move objects that weigh up to 55 LBSMust be able to sit or stand for prolonged periods of timeMove from area to areaTransport materialPosition self to conduct work at various heightsRotate bodyCrouch, squat and bendAscend / descend from various levels (climb ladders and stairs)Repetitive use of handsUse broom, shovel and others tools to complete assignmentsADM requires the successful completion of a background check.
