ResponsibilitiesAre you ready to apply Make sure you understand all the responsibilities and tasks associated with this role before proceeding.Wash, peel, cut, and chop ingredients like fruits, vegetables, and meats.Measure ingredients and seasonings for recipes.Prepare basic dishes, sauces, and salads.Label and store prepared ingredients properly.Set up and organize workstations for service.Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of prep areas, equipment, and utensils.Assist line cooks during service as needed.Monitor inventory and restock supplies.Skills & QualificationsStrong knife skills and manual dexterity.Knowledge of food safety and sanitation (HACCP/ServSafe).Ability to work under pressure and follow instructions.Good organizational and time management skills.Physical stamina for long periods of standing and lifting.Basic cooking knowledge and attention to detail.Typical RequirementsHigh school diploma or equivalent (often preferred). xaygatp Food handler's permit (sometimes required).Experience in a professional kitchen (helpful, but sometimes entry-level)
