Assistant Medical Practice Manager
Position OverviewWe are seeking a highly organized, proactive, and detail-oriented Assistant Medical Practice Manager to support the daily administrative and operational functions of our growing medical practice. This role works closely with leadership to ensure smooth office operations, strong team performance, regulatory compliance, and an exceptional patient experience.The ideal candidate is confident in handling employee relations, operational oversight, and multi-department coordination within a healthcare setting.This is a TRAVEL position. You will be asked to work out of multiple of our locations throughout the week such as Massapequa, Huntington, & Patchouge. Schedule will be discussed during the interview.Human Resources & Staff Management Review and vet resumes; conduct interviews for clinical and administrative staff Assist with onboarding and training of new hires Support employee relations, including performance coaching and documentation Monitor attendance, manage timecard corrections, and ensure payroll accuracy Maintain employee medical, disability, and compliance records Ensure staff adherence to company policies and proceduresOperations & Department Oversight Provide oversight and operational support to the TMS & Spravato department Monitor workflow efficiency and identify areas for improvement Assist with scheduling optimization for providers and support staff Ensure proper coverage and staffing levels across departments Pull weekly & monthly metric reports from our EMR system Support implementation of new systems, policies, or operational initiativesPatient Relations & Compliance Address and resolve patient complaints in a timely and professional manner Maintain HIPAA compliance and confidentiality standards Assist with audits and ensure regulatory compliance (OSHA, DOH, etc.) Support quality improvement initiativesAdministrative & Financial Support Assist with supply ordering and vendor management Monitor inventory and department needs Assist Practice Manager with special projects and strategic initiativesQualifications Minimum 35 years of experience in a medical office or healthcare administration role Prior supervisory or leadership experience required Strong understanding of medical office workflows and compliance requirementsExperience with payroll systems and timekeeping management Excellent conflictresolution skills Bachelors in Healthcare Administration or related field MA Experience required ECW experience Preferred TMS or Spravato Experience is a HUGE plus!What We Offer Competitive salary based on experience Health benefits PTO & paid holidays 401k
