This is a Quality Assurance clerical position which will be responsible for sorting mail, scanning and filing for archival purposes and fulfilling internal customer requests. Placed in the forefront of our leading and cutting edge Cell and Gene Therapy business enabling clients to cure genetic, rare, and otherwise untreatable diseasesEssential Responsibilities:The position will provide clerical support to help maintain cGMP compliance in all operating units with a focus on document management (scanning, filing, archival, tracking, and reconciliation) and assisting QA Auditors. 80%May be required to maintain and generate reports from tracking databases under the control of the Document Control Department. 10%May be required to support audits by locating appropriate documentation and personnel needed to support the audit. 5%Other duties as assigned by the Quality Systems and Document Control Supervisor 5%.Knowledge, Skill, and Requirements:A high school diploma and one year of appropriate experience. Appropriate college course work or vocational/technical training may substitute at an equivalent rate for the required experience or exempt by manager approval.100% Office EnvironmentWork Hours: Monday through Friday, 8:00 am to 5:00 pmMandatory overtime in evening and on weekends and holidays, when needed to meet project timelines. Must be flexible in regard to work schedule.Physical Demands:While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to stand; sit; use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms; and talk or hear.
