Salesforce CPQ Developer

Position OverviewWe are seeking an experienced Salesforce CPQ Developer to design, build, and support scalable CPQ (Configure, Price, Quote) solutions that enable our global sales organization. This role is hands-on and focuses on development, configuration, and optimization of Salesforce CPQ and Sales Cloud capabilities to improve quote accuracy, sales efficiency, and overall customer experience.The ideal candidate brings strong technical expertise in Salesforce CPQ, Apex, and Lightning development, as well as the ability to translate business requirements into effective system solutions. You should be comfortable working in a collaborative, fast-paced environment and passionate about solving complex pricing, product configuration, and quoting challenges.Key ResponsibilitiesCPQ Development & ConfigurationDesign, develop, and maintain Salesforce CPQ solutions, including product configuration rules, pricing rules, quote templates, and approval workflowsBuild and customize CPQ features such as Bundles, Discount Schedules, Price Rules, Product Rules, and Contracting/RenewalsDevelop custom logic using Apex, Lightning Web Components (LWC), and Flows to extend CPQ functionalitySolution DeliveryTranslate business requirements into scalable and maintainable technical solutions within Salesforce CPQPartner with Sales Operations, Finance, and Business Analysts to deliver system enhancements and new capabilitiesParticipate in design discussions and contribute to technical solutioning for CPQ and Sales Cloud use casesSystem Integration & Data ManagementSupport integrations between Salesforce CPQ and external systems such as ERP platforms (e.g., SAP), billing systems, and ordering toolsEnsure accurate data flow across systems, including pricing, product catalogs, and contract dataAssist in troubleshooting integration issues and data inconsistenciesTesting & DeploymentDevelop test classes and support unit, integration, and UAT testing cyclesValidate configuration and code changes prior to production deploymentCollaborate with DevOps teams using CI/CD pipelines and version control toolsOperational Support & OptimizationTroubleshoot CPQ and Salesforce issues, identify root causes, and implement fixesContinuously improve quoting processes through automation and system enhancementsMaintain and update documentation for CPQ configurations and customizationsCollaboration & Continuous ImprovementWork closely with cross-functional teams to align system functionality with business needsStay up-to-date with Salesforce CPQ releases and best practicesContribute ideas to improve system performance, usability, and scalabilityQualifications3–6+ years of Salesforce experience, including 2+ years working with Salesforce CPQHands-on experience with: Salesforce CPQ configuration (Products, Pricing, Rules, Quotes, Orders)Apex, SOQL, and Lightning Web Components (LWC)Salesforce Flows and declarative toolsExperience integrating Salesforce with external systems (ERP, billing, etc.)Strong understanding of Salesforce data model and platform capabilitiesFamiliarity with Agile development methodologiesStrong problem-solving skills and attention to detailAbility to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environmentBachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related fieldSalesforce CPQ Specialist certification (must have)Preferred SkillsExperience with quote-to-cash processes (pricing, contracting, renewals, billing)Familiarity with Sales Cloud and Revenue Cloud architectureExposure to CI/CD tools, DevOps practices, and version control systemsKnowledge of data governance, security, and compliance best practicesExperience supporting global sales teams or multi-currency environmentsAbout Bentley SystemsAround the world, infrastructure professionals rely on software from Bentley Systems to help them design, build, and operate better and more resilient infrastructure for transportation, water, energy, cities, and more.
