Are you a dedicated Family Practice Physician seeking an exciting locum tenens opportunity? This outpatient community health center in Washington State is looking for a committed professional to join their team. Enjoy the natural beauty of the Pacific Northwest while making a meaningful impact on underserved populations.Position DetailsStart Date: March 3, 2025 (or as soon as credentialed)Contract Length: 3 months, with potential for extensionSchedule:MondayFriday, 8:00 AM5:00 PM40 hours per weekNo on-call responsibilitiesDaily Census: Up to 21 patients per dayRole HighlightsWork in a fast-paced outpatient setting, providing comprehensive care for patients of all ages, from newborns to geriatrics.Deliver basic procedures such as injections, IUD placements, and minor wound care.Collaborate with a dedicated support team, including medical assistants, receptionists, dietitians, and mental health therapists.RequirementsBoard Certification: Family Practice (BC/BE required)License: Active Washington State medical license requiredCertifications: Current BLS and ACLS certifications requiredExperience: At least 2 years of clinical experience with direct patient care within the past year.Familiarity with EPIC EMR system is highly desirable.Proficiency in Spanish or Russian is a plus, but not required.Key QualificationsPassion for working with vulnerable populations, including migrants and refugees.Ability to adapt quickly and provide patient care independently after a brief orientation.Clean malpractice history and background check.Compensation and BenefitsCompetitive hourly rateTravel expenses covered, including airfare, rental car, or mileage, and lodging.Additional InformationFull vaccination against COVID-19 and flu is required.Credentialing timeframe: 23 weeks.This is a fantastic opportunity to work in a meaningful role while enjoying the scenic surroundings near Ashford, WA.
