Medical Center is seeking a Sleep Medicine physisican to lead our Sleep Medicine department--Exceptional opportunity for a clinically focused physician who thrives in a team-oriented, growth-minded environment?while helping shape the future of an AASM-accredited program--4-day work week with schedule flexibility--This leadership role is predominantly clinical with meaningful influence?not a desk job.--Majority of time is direct patient care, including full responsibility for all Sleep Lab interpretations--Leadership responsibilities are integrated into your schedule?not layered on top--8 hours/month of protected administrative time included in base compensation--Remaining hours follow our RVU-based productivity model--Function as the Site Director for AASM Accreditation--Lead through a dyad model to ensure ongoing compliance with AASM standards--Partner with system leadership to drive departmental growth and service expansion--No additional stipend?leadership responsibilities are part of the base role and recognized in the model design--Strong administrative, nursing, and technical support--Comprehensive benefits, including: Medical & dental, 403(b) & 457 retirement plans, CME allowance, Generous paid time off, Up to $20,000/year medical education loan reimbursement-- Required: Board-Certified or Board-Eligible in Sleep Medicine (Pulmonology training welcome but not required depending on your intended practice mix), Unrestricted Maine medical license (or ability to obtain)
