Construction Senior Project Manager
MissionHires is seeking a Senior Project Manager to lead end-to-end project delivery, owning schedule, cost, and contractual compliance while collaborating closely with field superintendents. This role reports to the Project Executive and focuses on delivering an exceptional client experience, building strong stakeholder relationships, mentoring project teams, and ensuring projects meet or exceed scope, budget, and timeline expectations.How You'll ContributeServe as primary professional communicator with all construction project stakeholders (owners, reps, design teams, subcontractors, suppliers, user groups).Evaluate and manage project finances, resources, and cost controls; report status and variances to the Project Executive.Thoroughly understand and manage all project documents and the owner’s contract (bonds, fees, notifications, schedules, reporting, insurance).Maintain effective, proactive communication with owners and owner representatives to ensure a positive construction experience.Employ conflict resolution and problem-solving strategies to resolve issues swiftly.Ensure subcontractors and suppliers meet project schedules and deliverables.Manage, mentor, coordinate, and advise a team of project managers and contract administrators.Build and maintain relationships aligned with company core values; meet or exceed client and project expectations.Participate in industry, client, and community activities to enhance the company’s image.Support business development efforts, including proposal preparation and interviews for new opportunities.Ensure clear, consistent communication across the entire project team.Conduct regular job site visits to collaborate with the job site superintendent.Define team roles and responsibilities; hold team members accountable at appropriate project milestones.Pursue continuing education and industry training opportunities provided by the company.Provide training and development to support growth of the entire project team.Perform other duties as assigned by the supervisor.What Makes You a Great FitB.S. in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field preferred; 8+ years of relevant experience.Proven ability to manage employees and mentor project teams.Demonstrated success managing multiple projects concurrently.Excellent written and verbal communication skills.Strong budget, cost management, and financial reporting capabilities.Demonstrated leadership with willingness to face challenges, solve problems, and motivate others while maintaining strong client relationships.Conflict resolution and problem-solving skills.Forward-thinking, self-motivated, with strong time management.Ability to remain calm, focused, and effective under pressure.Ability to work at a desk for extended periods and be mobile on job sites as needed.Willingness to work in office trailers or existing structures and wear appropriate PPE per company safety policies and weather conditions.
