Century Group is partnering with a client that is seeking a Payroll Specialist to join their team. Exact compensation may vary based on skills, experience, and location. Expected starting pay rate of $25.00 to $35.00 per hour. Job Responsibilities:Manage weekly and biweekly payroll processing and ensure all employee information is accurate and up to date.Serve as the main contact for the external HR partner and support benefits or HR related requests as needed.Assist the accounting team during slower periods by helping with payables, receivables, and basic journal entry work.Maintain organized payroll records and troubleshoot issues related to timekeeping or system entries.Support payroll reporting needs and provide information to internal teams when requested. Requirements:Strong technical ability and comfort working within payroll and HR systems.Ability to communicate clearly with employees, managers, and the external HR partner.Experience working with payroll routines for weekly and biweekly cycles.Capacity to learn company processes quickly and support both payroll and light accounting tasks.Strong attention to detail and ability to handle confidential information with care. Qualifications:Prior payroll experience with a similar employee count or workload.Familiarity with Paycom or similar payroll systems.Previous experience in construction or a similar field.Background supporting accounting tasks such as payables, receivables, or entries.Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage tasks independently.REF #52016
