2nd Shift Screw Machine Operator

Job Description: Our manufacturing company has operated for over 100 years and is in need of a Screw Machine Operator. Preferably with ACME-Gridley/Davenport experience. Good mechanical aptitude is a must, along with the ability to read blueprints, use micrometers, and calipers. 2nd shift (2:15pm – 12:45am Monday-Thursday) Compensation: $18/hr. General job duties are listed below: Operates one or more previously set up multiple spindle screw machines to perform a series of machining operations on bar stock. Reads Blueprints and job orders for information on dimensions, tolerances, and number of pieces to be machined. Adjusts machine controls and changes tool settings to keep dimensions within specified tolerances. Replace or adjust tools needed to complete job. Documentation of job and quality checks completed regularly.
