Physical Therapist # Position#Summary Conducts physical therapy evaluations and treatments according to established standards of physical therapy, physician#s referral and physical therapy plan of care. Primary Position Responsibilities 1. Evaluates infants, toddlers and children; develops appropriate treatment plans. 2. Provides developmentally appropriate, therapeutic interventions. 3. Completes thorough and accurate evaluation reports and ongoing daily session notes and progress#reports. 4. Maintains acceptable levels of clinical productivity; submits billing accordingly. 5. Counsels and educates patient, family and/or caregiver regarding treatment goals and progress. 6. Communicates with other essential medical and community/school personnel. 7. Maintains personal knowledge and skill levels and contributes to enhancing that of colleagues. Qualifications Minimum Education: Required: Bachelor#s Degree in Physical therapy Preferred: â- Master#s Degree in Physical Therapy or related field â- Doctoral Degree in Physical Therapy Minimum Years of Experience (Amount, Type and Variation): Required:#1-3 years experience providing therapy within a pediatric setting working with infants, toddlers and children: will consider new graduate Preferred:#None License, Registry or Certification: Required:#Current New Jersey State License Preferred:#None Knowledge, Skills and/or Abilities: Required:#Pediatric experience Preferred:#None # Hunterdon Health is committed to providing a competitive benefit package to our employees.# Benefit#offerings vary based on status and may include but not be limited to medical, dental, vision, family forming, paid time off, tuition reimbursement, and retirement savings.
