Staff Accountant

This role is responsible for supporting daily accounting operations and ensuring timely, accurate, and complete financial reporting. The ideal candidate will play a key role in maintaining the integrity of our accounting processes while contributing to process improvements that help scale our business.Key ResponsibilitiesExecute month-end close processes, including preparing journal entries, account reconciliations, and assisting with financial statement preparationPrepare and manage monthly client billingPerform day-to-day accounting functions, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger activity, and bank reconciliationsAssist with expense reimbursement processing, ensuring proper recording and reconciliationAnalyze financial results to ensure accuracy and completeness of monthly financial statementsIdentify opportunities to improve and automate accounting and business processes to support company growthSupport ad hoc reporting, financial analysis, and special projects as neededCollaborate cross-functionally to troubleshoot issues and provide financial guidanceAssist with compliance activities, including audits, tax support, and other regulatory requirementsQualificationsBachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance2+ years of relevant accounting experience, including at least 1 year in an operational accounting role within a high-growth environmentStrong attention to detail with excellent problem-solving skillsSelf-motivated, dependable, and able to manage deadlines in a fast-paced environmentExperience in SaaS or technology industry strongly preferredWhy Join Coviance?At Coviance, you’ll have the opportunity to make an impact in a growing fintech company while working alongside a supportive and driven team.
