Operator Assembly/Press & Bench An operator assembly/press & bench is responsible for operating various presses, assembling, soldering, hand setting, inspecting, sorting and various other types of bench work as required. Duties/Responsibilities: Operate various presses to produce quality parts as required. Perform numerous assembling and bench operations as required. Performs PDQ inspections. Additional Responsibilities: Inspects and sorts parts as required. Assists in other departments as time permits. Operates auxiliary equipment as needed. Maintain lot and scrap control Required Skills/Abilities: Must be able to perform basic assembly functions containing small parts. Experienced in use of measuring and magnification equipment. Must be able to work well with tweezers. Able to work in a team atmosphere. Practices good housekeeping. Education and Experience: Accustomed to working in a manufacturing environment. Experience in working with measuring and magnification equipment. Physical Requirements: Prolonged periods of sitting/standing. Must be able to lift 15 pounds at times. Must be able to access and navigate each department at the organization's facilities.
