Job Description Antitrust & Competition Of Counsel AttorneyLocation: California (Century City, Downtown Los Angeles, Orange County, Palo Alto, San Diego, San Francisco)Direct Counsel is seeking an Of Counsel to join the Antitrust and Competition practice of a leading global Am Law law firm in California. This is a senior-level opportunity within a rapidly growing, nationally recognized antitrust group handling high-stakes enforcement, investigations, and complex litigation.Key Responsibilities:Advise clients on antitrust and competition law matters, including government and internal investigations and enforcement actionsRepresent clients before enforcement authorities such as the U.S. Department of Justice (DOJ) and the Federal Trade Commission (FTC)Handle civil antitrust litigation, including discovery management, drafting pretrial motions, and overseeing complex casesRepresent clients in state and federal court proceedingsCollaborate closely with partners and senior attorneys on strategy, case management, and client counselingProvide sophisticated legal analysis on competition issues affecting major corporations and financial institutionsQualifications:JD from an accredited law schoolAdmitted to practice in California (or eligible)Significant experience in one or more of the following:Antitrust and competition law, government and internal investigations, and enforcement actionsCivil antitrust litigation, including discovery and motion practiceExperience interacting with federal enforcement agencies strongly preferredPrior federal clerkship and/or background in economics or a related discipline preferredExcellent legal writing, analytical, and case-management skillsCompensation:Expected base salary: $460,000+ annually(Final compensation may vary based on experience and other relevant factors.)This opportunity offers the chance to work on sophisticated, nationally significant antitrust matters within a top-tier practice serving premier global clients.
