We help freelancers, studios, and independent teams find work, manage clients, and run payments, all in one place.As more creative studios shift toward flexible, distributed teams, we’re building the infrastructure that helps them operate and scale.About the RoleWe’re hiring a Creative Studio Partnerships lead to help grow Contra’s network of top creative studios. This is a relationship-driven growth role focused on sourcing and onboarding high-value studios onto Contra.You’ll identify standout studios, build relationships with founders and operators, help them establish a strong presence on the platform, and guide them toward running their client payments and contractor payouts through Contra.You will act as both a strategic partner and a trusted point of contact for studios as they grow on the platform. This role is ideal for someone who deeply understands the creative industry, has strong taste, is highly proactive, and enjoys building relationships from scratch.What You’ll DoIdentify high-potential creative studios across design, branding, motion, product, development, content, and creative productionSource studios through platforms like X, Dribbble, Behance, LinkedIn, and referralsRun outbound outreach and relationship-building with studio founders and operatorsOwn the onboarding process from first conversation through activation on ContraHelp studios build and optimize their Contra presence, including profiles, portfolios, services, and positioningEducate studios on how to use Contra to manage payments, contractor payouts, hiring workflows, and client operationsBuild long-term relationships with top studios and act as an ongoing strategic point of contactPartner closely with product and growth teams to share feedback and identify opportunities to improve the studio experienceTrack pipeline activity, studio activation, payment volume, and expansion opportunitiesWhat We’re Looking ForStrong understanding of the creative studio ecosystemExperience in partnerships, business development, talent management, recruiting, creator partnerships, or community growthExceptional written communication and relationship-building skillsStrong taste and ability to identify high-quality creative workComfortable with outbound outreach and relationship-driven salesHighly organized and self-directedExcited about the future of independent work and creative entrepreneurshipBonus if you’ve worked directly with creative studios, agencies, freelancers, or creator ecosystemsWhat Success Looks LikeTop creative studios actively using ContraStudios building high-quality profiles and portfolios on the platformIncreased payment volume flowing through ContraStrong long-term relationships with studio founders and operatorsContra becoming a trusted operational platform for creative studios globallyWhy Join ContraWork directly with some of the best creative talent and studios in the worldHelp shape how modern creative teams operateJoin a fast-moving team building products for the future of workHigh ownership and ability to shape the role as the ecosystem growsOpportunity to grow alongside a fast-scaling team and a partnerships functionLocationBrooklyn, New York, United States (in office)Compensation$100,000 USD base salary + uncapped commission ($120,000 USD OTE)Medical, Dental, Vision Benefits401k MatchingWe will provide you with a company laptop on your start dateInterview ProcessIntro Call with Recruiting Team (20 minutes)Interview with VP of Product (40 minutes)Interview with CEO & Co-Founder (30 minutes)Paid Presentation + Case Study (60 minutes)
