**Accounts Receivable / Customer Service Specialist - Job Description**Adecco is partnering with a client in New Windsor NY and is seeking a accounts payable/customer service candidate. This role combines financial responsibilities with customer interaction, making it ideal for someone who enjoys working with numbers while providing excellent service.**Key Responsibilities:**+ Generate and distribute customer invoices accurately and on time+ Process incoming payments and apply them to the correct accounts+ Monitor outstanding balances and follow up on past-due accounts+ Communicate with customers regarding billing questions, payment status, and discrepancies+ Resolve invoice or payment issues in a professional and timely manner+ Reconcile accounts receivable records and maintain accurate documentation+ Provide general customer support via phone, email, or chat+ Collaborate with internal teams to ensure smooth billing and service operations**Qualifications:**+ 1-3+ years of experience in accounts receivable, billing, or customer service+ Strong attention to detail and organizational skills+ Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities+ Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software+ Ability to multitask and manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment**Preferred Skills:**+ Experience with ERP systems (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP, NetSuite)+ Basic understanding of accounting principles+ Problem-solving mindset with a customer-first approach**Pay Details:** $28.00 to $29.00 per hourBenefit offerings available for our associates include medical, dental, vision, life insurance, short-term disability, additional voluntary benefits, EAP program, commuter benefits and a 401K plan.
