Execute and analyze VTAM network traces to isolate and resolve complex issues within the SNA/APPN environment. Provide high-level support for Enterprise Extender (EE) protocols to ensure seamless SNA-over-IP communication. Security & Protocol Management Customize and maintain the z/OS Policy Agent (Pagent) to manage network policies and AT-TLS rules. Manage secure communication protocols, including SSH and SSL/TLS, ensuring robust data encryption. Administer Digital Certificates and Keyrings to maintain mainframe security integrity. Support secure file transfer services, including SFTP, FTPS, and Connect:Direct. System Support & Infrastructure Configure and support IBM 3270 Emulators, including PCOMM, Host On-Demand (HOD), and HACP-EE. Customize, and maintain the VPS Enterprise Printing System. Manage printer protocols, specifically PCL and PostScript, to ensure reliable output services. Reporting, Automation & Performance Generate reports based on SMF records using REXX, CLIST, and Java. Utilize IBM utilities, Syncsort, and SMF (System Management Facilities) records for performance monitoring, reporting, and capacity planning. Requirements: Proficiency in mainframe environments: TSO/ISPF, JCL, SDSF (JES2/JES3), and OMVS. Experience with distributed tools such as PuTTY, WinSCP, and the Microsoft Office Suite. Familiarity with ServiceNow for IT Service Management (ITSM) is highly desirable. Operational Expectations On-Call Support: Must be willing to participate in a rotational 24x7x365 on-call schedule. Flexibility: Ability to work overtime, including various shifts, weekends, and holidays, as required by business needs.
