Job Description This position supports the Office of the Under Secretary of Defense for Research and Engineering (OUSD(R&E)) Research, Development, Test and Evaluation (RDT&E) Engineering and Technical Support (RETS) Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) contract. This position is responsible for the overall management of the IDIQ contract and all subsequent task orders across a full spectrum of professional technical and engineering support requirements. Responsibilities:Provide overall leadership and guidance for all contractor personnel on administrative, contractual, business, and security processes for the IDIQ and all resultant task ordersDevelop, implement, and execute effective plans for overall contract management, contract administration, security, training, and quality assuranceMaintain regulatory compliance and approval authority for all contract-related expensesPlan, direct, and coordinate work activities of all personnel involved in all aspects of the contractIntegrate problem resolution in ongoing work without loss of fiscal integrity and workforce efficiencyServe as the government's primary point of contact for all contract matters relating to daily operationsManage overall contract performance and quality across multiple task ordersCoordinate with OUSD(R&E) leadership, Joint Staff, Services, and other stakeholdersProvide proactive alerts to the government regarding potential contractual or programmatic issuesEnsure adherence to all DoD acquisition policies and procedures QualificationsRequires a minimum TS/SCI clearanceBachelor's degree requiredMinimum 10 years of relevant experience as a program managerPentagon and OUSD(R&E) experience strongly preferedAt least 5 years demonstrated experience in a supervisory capacity planning, developing, and executing major research and development efforts for defense organizationsExperience providing support to contracts of similar size, scope, and complexityDemonstrated experience with DoD acquisition processes and regulationsStrong leadership and team management capabilitiesExcellent written and oral communication skillsAbility to interface effectively with senior government personnel and multiple stakeholdersExperience with quality assurance and contract administration processes Additional Information This position is contingent upon contract award.
