Senior Software Engineer (Python, AWS)

Overview:As a Senior Software Engineer, you will be working primarily on backend code fusing multiple data sources and processes together providing immediate value to the analysts by automating their workflows. You will function as a technical expert and be responsible for leading major assignments and guiding project outcomes. You will work with stakeholders from across the Intelligence Community and will need to be comfortable communicating with both military and civilian personnel. You will work on multiple projects each day so must be comfortable context switching between applications.Responsibilities:Active TS/SCIclearance (eligible for CI Poly)9–13years of backend software development experienceStrong ability to plan, manage, and deliver complex technology assignmentsProficiency in Python, AWS Services, and containerizing applicationsExperience working in Agile/SAFe environmentsExperience using GitLab for code source repository and using GitLab CI/CDExperience developing Geospatial focused applications and scripts and a deep expertise interfacing with geospatial systems using open-source and proprietary geospatial formatsExperience with Geospatial data formats like Shapefiles, GeoJSON, KML/KMZ, NTIF, WKT,Preferred (not required):Ability to work independently with clients or stakeholders to develop user stories for full-service consumer and business applicationsExperience with government and/or commercial imagery products, including EO and SAR or related RADAR imaging technologiesAgile certificationsExperience developing automated detection algorithmsExperience developing and training AI models
