Job Description Production AssociatePeoplelink Staffing Solutions is in partnership with a well-established sign making supplier located in South bend, IN. This company has been a master converter and distributor of sign vinyl films, digital media, overlaminates, banner, and heat transfer films in the sign/graphic industry since 1988. They are looking for reliable and detail-oriented individuals interested in working for an amazing organization!Production Associate Summary:1st shift 8am-4:30pm Pay Rate: $15.00/hr.Product material verified and confirmed to production order (vinyl type, color, roll size and quantity)Lift and set up material on roll down machine and create roll according to order specifications.Enter order length specifications into machine panel (feet, yards)Examine product through the rolldown process to ensure conformance to quality that is free from errors and defects.Distribute finished order rolldown to next production staging area.Moving inventory material back to inventory staging areaProcess all production paperwork/computer entry to show completed.Daily safety check of machinery and report any maintenance required.Daily 5S at workstation and throughout warehouseOther duties as assigned to flex to other departments.Production Associate Qualifications:High School diploma or GED equivalent required.Ability to read, write and perform basic math and tape measurements.Ability to see color.Ability to lift up to 75 lbs. regularly.Gripping/Grasping hand tools regularly throughout the shift.Standing, bending, and stooping regularly throughout the shift.Must be able to work occasional mandatory weekend overtime.Previous experience working with distributors and or knowledge of graphic arts or sign industry a plus but not required.Key Core Qualifications:Effective prioritization and multitask.Attention to detail and precision.Ability to work in a fast-paced environment to meet high production demands.Why Peoplelink?Weekly payQuick hire in processMedical, Dental, Vision & Life insurance availableDirect Deposit ProgramsReferral bonus program if offered.A caring and devoted team to help you achieve your job goals.Peoplelink Group is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
