We offer competitive compensation in addition to an attractive benefits package for qualified employees.Job Title: Chemical Line OperatorEmployee Type: Full Time, HourlyReports to: Processing ManagerShift: 1st Shift; 6am-2:30p, Monday-FridayRate: $20.00 - $25.00/hour; dependent upon experienceJob Location: Wichita, KS, USAExperience: 3+ years working in an aerospace manufacturing environmentJob Duties:Operate the crane to move parts between processesRack, un-rack, and process work orders through the chemical/anodize linesMonitor material in process for potential quality defectsPrepare parts prior to operationsSand and mask parts as neededPerform appropriate pre and post cleaning surface finish requirementsSelect holding racks/baskets according to size, shape, and number of objects to be chemically processedWire or clip parts to racksRemove parts from racksTransport parts to next areaRead and understand work order requirementsHandle customer product with careMaintain equipment, and keep work area clean and organizedPerform other miscellaneous job duties and related functions as neededPromote safety and work safely at all times and complies with all safety regulations while working with Hazardous materials and chemicals.Requirements:3+ years working in an aerospace manufacturing environment, preferredExperience working in a chemical environment, preferredOverhead Crane operation experience, requiredDependable, team-oriented, and good communication skillsFollow Company Safety rules and wear Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) as requiredAvailable to work overtime when required, including weekendsPerform other duties as assigned by the Processing ManagerHigh School diploma or equivalent preferredExcellent attendance & positive attitude is requiredMust be 18 years oldWorking Conditions:1st Shift: 6:00am - 2:30pm; Monday - FridayShift Differential Pay in addition to hourly rateSome overtime may be requiredAbility to regularly and frequently lift 50 poundsWill be exposed to constant activity that requires intermittent standing, bending, crouching, twisting, pushing, pulling, lifting, moving, carrying light and heavy loads, and climbing stairs and ladders.
