Physical Therapist

Physical Therapy & Hand Centers, Inc. is a San Diego based, PT owned private practice. We have eight locations throughout San Diego County specializing in outpatient orthopedics and hand therapy. We are looking to hire a staff PT at our Scripps Ranch office, located in San Diego, CA. The position available is a full-time staff Physical Therapist with benefits detailed below. Experience in outpatient orthopedics is preferred, but motivated new graduates are welcome to apply. Opportunities for advancement into supervisor and clinic director responsibilities are available to motivated staff. REQUIREMENTS Graduate of an accredited program Current state licensure BLS through the American Heart Association or the American Red Cross CPR for the Health Care Provider (CPR and AED) Program Excellent communication and organizational skills Proficient in EHR documentation JOB DUTIES Performs and documents initial evaluation and ongoing daily SOAP notes of patient's condition. Establishes a plan of care which is appropriate to problems identified and specific to patient’s capabilities and goals. Rehabilitation potential identified and treatment plan formulated with consideration to professional, accreditation, regulatory, and insurance requirements. Documentation must provide rationale for skilled intervention and specific treatment programs. Documentation must be completed accurately and in a timely manner, in accordance with company policies. Provide the highest level of care with patient focused approach Manage caseload effectively to attain both positive quality and financial outcomes as well as meet expected productivity standards Supervise and delegate the care provided by physical therapy assistants and physical therapy aides in accordance with state licensing laws, regulations and practice standards Maintain positive rapport and workplace relationships with other staff COMPENSATION and BENEFITS: Highly competitive salary Benefits package - health care, vacation, sick leave, holidays Company In-services/Training for PTs 401K plan Promotion / Advancement Opportunities Full-Time Position with desirable hours, no weekends Supportive Staff BACKGROUND SCREENING Physical Therapy & Hand Centers, Inc. conducts background screening on job candidates upon acceptance of a contingent job offer and may use a third party administrator to conduct background screenings.
