The Houston office currently has over 40 attorneys who practice in a variety of areas including Business Litigation, Corporate Transactions, Real Estate, Finance, Intellectual Property, and more.Sheppard’s nationally recognized Real Estate Practice Group is seeking a highly motivated mid-level (3-4 years) Real Estate Transactional Associate to join our dynamic team. With one of the largest and most experienced Real Estate practices in the country, we offer a diversity and depth of experience that is unrivaled.The Houston Real Estate team seeks candidates who have experience supporting complex, high-value real estate transactions, including:Drafting and negotiating purchase agreements, commercial leases, and other real estate transactional documentsConducting and reviewing title due diligence, including negotiation and clearance of title issuesManaging transaction closings, including coordination of colleagues, clients, and outside partiesCollaborating with partners and senior associates on structured acquisitions, dispositions, and leasing mattersQualificationsJuris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school3-4 years of experience working on varied real estate transactionsProficiency in drafting, negotiation, and document review, with keen attention to detailStrong communication, organizational skills, and ability to manage multiple concurrent mattersTeam-oriented mindset and eagerness to learn directly from leading practitionersResume, cover letter, and law school transcript are required to apply.
