This individual will load the truck using a forklift, deliver to various store locations, and assist in unloading using an electric pallet jack.The position is full-time, working 40 hours a week with occasional overtime, while being home daily. Current delivery route runs Monday through Friday. This position will also include time spent in the warehouse picking and preparing orders for delivery.Job ResponsibilitiesPerform pre-trip & post-trip truck inspectionsPull materials for orders and load on delivery trucksUnload product using an electric pallet jackEnsure timely and accurate deliveriesFollow all DOT and company safety regulationsMaintain cleanliness and basic care of vehicle and equipmentAssist with warehouse responsibilities as neededRequirements:Valid Chauffeur's license with a clean driving recordExperience as a straight truck/box truck driverForklift experienceDrivers are required to pass a drug screening, DOT physical and background checkDOT Physical Certification required or the ability to pass DOT examinationProficient in English (written and verbal)Must be dependable, punctual, and safety-focusedAbility to safely lift, carry, and move merchandise as needed, including items weighing up to 50 lbs.Knowledge of local routes in and around Lansing and Grand Rapids Michigan as well as Northern Indiana a plusABOUT FEEDERS PET SUPPLYAt Feeders Pet Supply, our mission is simple: to provide pets with the top-grade care we want for our animal friends.
