ITU is the higher acuity adult unit (patients with thought disorder diagnoses), SRAD has patients that live a senior lifestyle. VINE is lower acuity adult unit.Type of Equipment:Documentation System: MeditechScheduling Requirements: We require coverage for three 12-hour shifts each day, seven days a week, including weekends. Please note that days off are not guaranteed unless specified in the contract.On Call Requirements: NAFloating Policy: C/L is utilized where the greatest need is.Patient Experience Requirements: HCA follows ICARE values, I CARE values are integrity, compassion, always, and respect as well as AIDET to keep patients informed and make them feel heard, AIDET stands for the five key communication behaviors that create positive care interactions: acknowledge, introduce, duration, explanation and thank you.Hospital Specifics:Certifications: BLS and CPIHiring Profile Requested Skill Set:Ability to assess patients' mental health status, including recognizing signs of psychiatric disorders, substance use, and behavioral problems. This involves taking thorough patient histories, observing behavior, and using diagnostic tools.Care Planning: Developing individualized care plans based on the needs of patients with mental health and behavioral issues. This includes setting goals, implementing interventions, and evaluating outcomes.Medication Management: Administering psychiatric medications and monitoring for side effects or adverse reactions. Knowledge of psychotropic medicationsMust Have: Crisis Intervention: Providing immediate, short-term support to patients in crisis (e.g., suicidal ideation, aggression).
