School Speech Language Pathologist - Lumberton, North Carolina

Make a difference in the lives of students as a Speech Language Pathologist contracted for the upcoming school year! This position provides support across elementary, middle, and high school levels, with assignments determined based on school needs and your expertise. The full-time schedule is Monday through Friday, totaling 37.5 hours per week, running from August 13, 2025, through May 27, 2027. Key Qualifications:Active North Carolina SLP license required (consideration given to candidates able to obtain NC licensure by June or July)SLP-CCC credentials preferredExperience in school-based settings with students at a variety of grade levelsAdaptability and enthusiasm for working onsite in educational environmentsOpen to both local and travel therapists eager for an onsite, in-person assignment Primary Responsibilities:Assess and treat students with a variety of speech, language, and communication disorders across elementary, middle, and high school settingsCollaborate with educators, administrators, and families to develop and implement effective IEPs and therapy plansMaintain clear documentation of evaluations, progress, and ongoing clinical notesServe as a resource for faculty and staff, contributing to multi-disciplinary teamwork on campusSupport and empower students on their journey to successful academic and social communication This rewarding opportunity invites compassionate SLPs who enjoy building rapport with students, collaborating with colleagues, and making a meaningful contribution to school communities.
