This role is responsible for setting up, operating, and monitoring folder gluer machines to produce packaging that meets quality, safety, and productivity standards. Daily tasks include reviewing job specifications, adjusting machine settings, loading materials, performing quality checks, and troubleshooting minor mechanical issues. The operator collaborates with production, quality, and maintenance teams to ensure efficient workflow, accurate counts, and timely completion of orders. The role also involves following all safety procedures, maintaining a clean work area, and documenting production activities in accordance with company and regulatory requirements.Qualifications Experience operating folder gluer or similar packaging machinery, with strong mechanical aptitude and comfort working with industrial equipment.Ability to read and interpret work orders, production schedules, and basic technical drawings, with attention to detail and quality standards.Knowledge of manufacturing safety practices and commitment to maintaining a safe, clean, and organized work environment.Strong problem-solving skills for identifying and resolving machine issues, jams, and quality deviations during production runs.Effective communication and teamwork skills to collaborate with supervisors, maintenance, and quality assurance personnel.Basic math and measurement skills for checking dimensions, counts, and tolerances in a production setting.Ability to stand for extended periods, lift materials as needed, and work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.Previous experience in packaging, printing, or manufacturing is preferred; high school diploma or equivalent is beneficial.
