Senior Resident Engineer

The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills and a deep understanding of civil engineering principles related to construction inspection and management. The qualified candidate will be responsible for managing inspection teams and leading client meetings.Key ResponsibilitiesOversee daily construction activities and ensure compliance with project plans, specifications, and safety standards.Coordinate with contractors, subcontractors, and other stakeholders to ensure smooth project execution.Conduct site inspections and monitor progress to ensure adherence to schedules and budgets.Lead project progress meetings and distribute meeting minutesResolve any issues or conflicts that arise during construction.Prepare and maintain detailed project documentation, including reports, logs, and records.Ensure all work meets the highest standards of quality and safety.Provide technical guidance and support to project teams.QualificationsBachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.Professional Engineer (PE) license in NY requiredMinimum of 10+ years of experience in construction management or a similar role.OSHA 30-hour safety course requiredExperience with NYSDOT, NYSTA & MTAStrong knowledge of engineering principles, construction practices, and safety regulations.Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.Proficiency in project management software and tools.Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.Must be authorized to work in the United States.J-18808-Ljbffr
