We currently have an opening for Shipping & Receiving Associate in our Gowanda Electronics facility, located in Gowanda, NY. This entry-level position supports daily shipping and receiving activities to ensure accurate and timely movement of materials and finished goods.
Details of the Role: The Shipping & Receiving Associate I performs routine shipping and receiving tasks under general supervision and follows established procedures for packaging, labeling, receiving, and material handling.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Package and ship finished goods according to instructions and customer requirements
Receive incoming materials and verify quantities against documentation
Prepare basic shipping documentation such as packing slips and labels
Move materials using carts, pallet jacks, or hand trucks
Maintain clean and organized shipping and receiving areas
Enter shipping and receiving data into ERP systems
Follow all safety and PPE requirements
Perform other shipping and material handling tasks as assigned
Qualifying Attributes and Skills
High school diploma or equivalent required;
Shipping, receiving, or material handling experience preferred
Basic computer and data entry skills
Strong attention to detail and reliability
Physical Requirements
Ability to lift and move materials weighing up to 50 pounds
Ability to stand, walk, bend, and reach throughout the shift
Ability to work in a production or shipping environment
