Java Developer

Location: Allen, TX, USAEmployment Type: Contract-to-HireAbout the Role:We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Java Developer to join our client's team in the tech industry. In this role, you will contribute to preparing functional and design specifications, overseeing the development process, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure specifications are met.Responsibilities:Prepare functional and design specifications for software development.Oversee the development process and ensure timely delivery of features.Collaborate with management, developers, and technical teams to manage release expectations.Support the full product development lifecycle as part of an Agile team.Requirements:Proficiency in Java and JavaScript, with a solid understanding of Java 11/17.Experience with JavaFX, Swing, and Windows Native APIs.Familiarity with build tools such as Maven, Jenkins, CMake, and SCONs.5+ years of relevant experience in software development.Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, IT, or Telecommunications.Preferred Qualifications:Experience with FlatLaf for reskinning Swing applications.Knowledge of GitHub, Visual Studio, and JetBrains IDEs.Who We AreSGF Global is an integrated talent solutions provider, offering staffing, recruitment, Employer of Record (EOR), nearshore, and consulting services across a wide range of industries in 35 countries.
