OverviewWe are seeking an Embedded Software Engineer to join a small, hands-on engineering team. This role is ideal for engineers early in their careers through mid-level experience who want strong mentorship and growth in embedded software development.The focus of this position is C-based middleware development across Embedded Linux and RTOS environments. This is not a kernel or device driver role.ResponsibilitiesDevelop and maintain embedded middleware software primarily in C (some C++)Work with embedded Linux and RTOS-based systemsSupport RTOS environments including FreeRTOS and MQXAssist in development for ARM-based platforms (including STM32 migration efforts)Work on networking/middleware layers (not hardware control or kernel development)Collaborate closely with senior engineer in a 2-person teamRequired Skills2–10 years embedded software experienceStrong C programming skills requiredSome C++ exposureTCP/IP networking exposureBasic experience with embedded Linux or RTOSAbility to work onsite 3 days/weekPreferred SkillsBluetooth / wireless protocol experienceEmbedded middleware or communication stack experienceExperience with STM32Familiarity with NXP Semiconductors platformsMust be a US Citizen or Green Card HolderThis is a hybrid position with 3 days onsite required.
