Job Title: Product Owner (Commercial Cards)Experience: 10+ YearsLocation: Hybrid- Shelton CTJob Description:We are seeking a Product Owner with strong expertise in the Commercial Cards domain to lead product development and enhancements across card-based payment solutions. This role is ideal for someone who has actively built and launched card products (corporate cards, virtual cards, purchasing cards, etc.) and understands end-to-end product lifecycle, from ideation through delivery and adoption.The Product Owner will work closely with Business, Technology, Operations, and Payments stakeholders to define product vision, manage backlogs, and drive delivery of scalable, compliant, and customer-centric card solutions.Primary ResponsibilitiesOwn the product backlog for Commercial Card products, including:Corporate cardsPurchasing (P-cards)Virtual cardsExpense management integrationsDefine product vision, roadmap, and priorities aligned to business objectivesTranslate business needs into:User storiesAcceptance criteriaFunctional requirementsPartner with stakeholders across:PaymentsTreasury / Commercial BankingRisk & ComplianceTechnology and OperationsDrive product enhancements related to:Card issuance and lifecycle managementAuthorization, settlement, and reconciliation flowsFraud controls and risk managementWork closely with engineering teams to ensure timely delivery of featuresSupport UAT, product launches, and post-launch monitoringTrack product performance, adoption metrics, and customer feedbackRequired Skills & Experience6–10+ years of experience in Product Ownership / Product ManagementStrong experience in Commercial Cards / Corporate Cards domainProven experience in building or launching card productsDeep understanding of:Card lifecycle (issuance, activation, authorization, settlement)Payment networks (Visa, Mastercard, etc.)Expense and card management platformsExperience working in Agile environments (Scrum / SAFe)Strong stakeholder management and communication skillsPreferred SkillsExperience with virtual cards and digital card issuance platformsFamiliarity with card processing systems and APIsExperience working with fraud prevention and risk systemsExposure to commercial banking or treasury platformsExperience integrating card products with ERP or expense systems (e.g., SAP, Concur)Success ProfileA successful Product Owner will:Bring deep domain expertise in Commercial Cards and product thinkingDrive delivery of scalable, compliant, and customer-centric card solutionsEffectively bridge business, payments, and technology teamsDeliver products that improve client experience, control, and efficiencyCompany Profile:Stratacent is a Global IT consulting and Services firm, headquartered in Jersey City, NJ, USA with offices in UK, Canada, and South Africa and global capability centers (GCC) in Pune and Gurugram in India.
