Machine Operator

We are looking for a dedicated Machine Operator to join our team in Lake Bluff, IL. This role offers a starting pay rate between $19.00 and $21.00 per hour. The schedule begins with a morning shift from 5:00am to 3:30pm, eventually transitioning to an afternoon shift running from 2:30pm to 10:00pm. Core Duties Utilize band saws and various cutting machinery to process insulation products like mineral wool, fiberglass, and perlite with precision. Perform accurate measurements to maximize raw material utilization and minimize scrap. Ensure daily production targets are met while upholding rigorous quality benchmarks. Help maintain a safe working environment for the entire team by adhering to all safety guidelines, keeping the floor tidy, and utilizing necessary personal protective equipment including respirators. Required Qualifications Prior background in the operation of band saws or comparable cutting tools. Demonstrated ability to perform precise measurements and execute complex instructions. Help foster a culture of safety by maintaining high awareness and a commitment to a secure workspace. Consistent attendance and punctuality, paired with a dedication to high-quality and efficient output.
