Dean's Professional Services has partnered with healthcare facilities, government organizations, and corporations to provide job opportunities.Specimen Processing Technician I Job Details:Available Shifts: 10:00 PM - 6:30 AM | Tuesday - SaturdayLocation: 2501 South State Highway 121, Lewisville TX 75067Starting Pay Rate: $18.00 / hour + (based on experience)Temporary to hireSpecimen Processing Technician I Responsibilities:Imaging/microfilming of documentsCentrifugation and aliquoting of specimensOperating at the A-station with accuracy and timelinessPerform all specimen processing tasks with accuracy and efficiency.Ensure compliance with regulations related to test ordering and specimen handling.Meet productivity and quality standards in a production-driven environmentAdhere to biohazard safety practices and maintain a clean, organized work area.Communicate effectively with staff across all levels.Demonstrate flexibility to adapt to daily changes and demands.Specimen presort, pickup, and delivery within the laboratoryFamiliarity with laboratory testing or specimen processing a plus.Education Requirements:High school diploma or equivalent, required.Job Requirements:No experience required; laboratory or medical background preferred.Previous experience in a production environment strongly preferred.Data entry skills (minimum 6,000 keystrokes/hour).Must be able to sit or stand for long periods.There will be a 15% shift diff on this roleKnow someone who may be interested?
