MECHANIC III
GENERAL PURPOSEThe Mechanic III is a senior-level role responsible for the advanced repair, diagnostics, and preventive maintenance of complex industrial laundry systems and facility equipment. This role includes leading maintenance projects, mentoring junior staff, and ensuring maximum equipment uptime and performance.Duties And ResponsibilitiesLead and model adherence to all company safety protocols and OSHA regulationsPerform advanced diagnostics and repairs on industrial laundry machinery and systemsTroubleshoot and resolve complex electrical, mechanical, pneumatic, and automation issuesProgram, troubleshoot, and repair PLCs, VFDs, and control panel componentsConduct root-cause analysis and implement long-term reliability solutionsOptimize and improve preventive maintenance procedures and documentationManage or lead capital improvement projects and equipment installationsAssist with parts sourcing, inventory planning, and vendor coordinationMentor and train Maintenance Technicians I and IISupport the Maintenance Supervisor or Manager in planning and shift leadershipMaintain thorough and accurate records of maintenance activities in CMMSThis position description is not intended to be an exhaustive list of all duties, responsibilities and qualifications associated with the job.
