Job Description
Bachelor's or Master's degree in School Psychology, active School Psychologist license and minimum 1+ years School Psychologist experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.A contract opportunity is available for a licensed School Psychologist based in Morganton, NC, providing telehealth services to support students within the education system. This part-time role requires 20-25 hours per week, Monday through Friday, with flexibility to deliver psychological services virtually.Key responsibilities include:Conducting thorough evaluations of students' educational, learning styles, and program needs following referrals for special education servicesProviding diagnostic insights to guide the development of appropriate educational plans and interventions for students with disabilitiesCollaborating with instructional staff to ensure that individualized programs meet student needs effectivelyManaging caseloads while maintaining detailed, confidential recordsQualifications and experience sought:Current licensure as a School Psychologist in the state of North Carolina is mandatoryMasters degree in School Psychology, Educational Psychology, or a related field is preferredExperience with telehealth service delivery in educational settings is advantageousStrong assessment skills and knowledge of special education laws and proceduresEffective communication and collaboration abilities to work with instructional personnel and familiesThis contract position supports remote telehealth service provision, offering the ability to impact students educational outcomes meaningfully while working from home.
