Lead Subcontracts Specialist - (Aerospace/Defense)

Must be a US Citizen.Pay rate: *** Shift:Shift: DaysMust work in office for first 90 days before Hybrid option become available.As a Lead Subcontracts Specialist, you will lead the material portion of the end-to-end cycle of FAR15 proposals and subcontracts, supporting large-scale Client Programs. The process starts with the proposal and winning the sales order, then ends with negotiating subcontracts or long-term purchase orders with suppliers. Throughout, the Principal Subcontracts Specialist will coordinate the completion of compliant FAR15 material packages to the US Government, working closely with the Client Pricing Organization and partnering with Client Business Units, to fulfill subcontracts aligned with program award.ResponsibilitiesKEY RESPONSIBILITIESCoordinate proposal and contract execution activities for large-scale Client ProgramsDevelop strong material negotiation positions in-support of customer contract awardInterface with business team to support customer negotiations and execution of programsInterface with Client Customers to support audits and award activitiesSupport key program suppliers as neededMentor and train team membersQualificationsYOU MUST HAVEMinimum of 5-7 years of experience in Procurement, Supply Chain, L&C, Business, or FinanceUS Citizenship due to contractual requirementsDetailed understanding of the DoD Procurement Life CycleWE VALUEDoD procurement subcontracting experience (FAR15)Ability to act as a project manager and lead teams without having supervisory responsibilityAbility to work independentlyExperience with Federal Acquisitions Regulations and Defense Federal Acquisition RegulationsSupply chain experienceProcurement experience within defense, aerospace, or similar industriesExperience with Truthful Cost or Pricing Data (TCPD)
