MEAN Stack Developer

We are seeking a skilled and motivated MEAN Stack Developer to join our engineering team and contribute to the design, development, and maintenance of scalable web applications. The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on experience across the MEAN stack (MongoDB, Express.js, Angular, and Node.js) with a solid understanding of modern software development practices.Key ResponsibilitiesDesign, develop, test, and maintain scalable web applications using the MEAN stack.Build responsive and reusable front-end components using Angular.Develop robust backend services, RESTful APIs, and business logic using Node.js and Express.js.Design and optimize data models, queries, and database operations using MongoDB.Integrate third-party APIs, services, and external systems as required.Write clean, maintainable, reusable, and well-documented code.Implement authentication, authorization, security, and data protection best practices.Optimize application performance, scalability, reliability, and responsiveness.Collaborate with QA teams to troubleshoot defects and ensure application quality.Participate in code reviews and contribute to engineering standards and best practices.Work with Git-based version control and follow established branching and development workflows.Troubleshoot production issues and provide timely technical solutions.Contribute to technical documentation, architecture discussions, and continuous improvement initiatives.Stay updated with emerging technologies, frameworks, and best practices within the JavaScript ecosystem.Required Skills & QualificationsBachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.3+ years of professional software development experience, preferably with MEAN stack applications.Strong hands-on experience with:MongoDBExpress.jsAngularNode.jsJavaScript / TypeScriptStrong understanding of RESTful API development and integration.Experience with HTML5, CSS3, and responsive web development.Good understanding of database design, indexing, querying, and performance optimization.Experience with Git/GitHub/GitLab/Bitbucket or similar version-control systems.Understanding of software development lifecycle and Agile methodologies.Strong debugging, problem-solving, and analytical skills.Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a development team.Preferred / Nice-to-Have SkillsExperience with Angular Material, RxJS, NgRx, or similar Angular ecosystem tools.Experience with AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.Familiarity with Docker and CI/CD pipelines.Experience with automated testing and frameworks such as Jest, Jasmine, Karma, or Cypress.Understanding of microservices architecture.Experience with Redis, Kafka, RabbitMQ, or other messaging/caching technologies.Familiarity with application monitoring and logging tools.Experience working on large-scale, high-traffic applications.
