Cross Point NW is looking for an enthusiastic Automotive Condition Report Writer who has a knack for cars and wants an opportunity to join a growing company.. What you will do: ● Work onsite at 6803 SE Johnson Creek, Portland OR ● Partner with Cross Point NW Auto Auction Manager and Team to ensure timely and thorough reports of vehicles to be auctioned. . ● Work as an integral part of the Cross Point NW Auto Auction Team building strong working relationships. ● Prepare and submit a report of vehicle condition, repair/replacement cost estimates, and related documentation. o completion of Condition Report Activities and related reporting and/or recordkeeping including but not limited to: (interior/exterior), o repair/replacement estimates and related documentation. o Identify, and assess structural damage, frame condition, and alignment of vehicle body panels and repairs along with detecting missing parts and mechanical problems. ● Take paint meter readings and perform Audio Motor Profile (AMP) recordings as well as Virtual Lift undercarriage images. ● List inspected wholesale vehicles utilizing proprietary platform for bidding and purchasing. ● Stay informed with information regarding company products, upgrades and service improvements ● Perform additional duties as assigned. What you will need: 1 year Experience in the automobile field (body, paint and mechanical repair knowledge) with a strong work ethic. ● Ability to read, write, speak and understand English. ● Problem solving aptitude to meet challenges with resourcefulness and innovative approaches. ● Proven success to work independently with minimal supervision while working in ateam environment. ● Excellent communicator with the ability to understand expectations. ● Valid driver’s license and safe driving record required ● Knowledge of system capabilities, knowledge of needed/job-relevant softwarepackages, and web-based applications. ● Ability to drive a manual & automatic transmission.● Vision abilities required to properly identify small defects around and underneath vehicles. Physical/Mental Requirements: ● Ability to work in a variety of conditions (indoor and outdoor) ● Ability to use computer, including typing, navigating software applications, and using a mouse or trackpad. ● Able to push, pull, lift, or move up to 50 lbs. as needed. ● Analytical thinking and problem-solving ability. ● Written and oral communication ability ● Ability to communicate and effectively exchange information. ● Ability to view and interpret information displayed on monitor(s), device screen(s), or physical mediums Working Conditions: ● On site ● Ability to work in a variety of conditions (indoor and outdoor) Compensation: $16.00 per hour. This position is eligible for additional compensation pursuant to ACV’s incentive compensation plan. Please note that final compensation will be determined based upon the applicant's relevant experience, skillset, location, business needs, market demands, and other factors as permitted by law.
