DescriptionAssociate Project ManagerDepartment: Project ImplementationLocation: Westfield, INEmployment Type: Full-TimeThis entry-level role will support the sales team by helping with customer calls, preparing presentations, and creating tailored solutions based on customer needs. You'll assist with proposal development and manage smaller projects and key accounts as directed. Collaboration with Project Managers, Senior Project Managers, and Salespeople will be essential in this role.Overall ResponsibilitiesOversee the individual projects of the Account ManagerAct as the liaison between the customer and the Account ManagerStay up to date on all products/systems/offerings within the industryCollaborate with Account Managers to evaluate customer needs, design and present the best solution to the customerCollaborate with Account Managers to visit customer sites and interface with appropriate customer contactsEnsure that all projects are delivered on time, within scope and budgetCoordinate internal resources and third parties/vendors for flawless execution of projectsDevelop and prepare effective proposals to provide to Account/ProspectInteract with clients to identify and define project requirementsDevelop a detailed project plan to monitor and track the progress of each open jobManage changes to the project scope, project schedule, and project costsPerform risk management to minimize project risksEstablish and maintain relationships with third parties/vendorsDevelop and maintain comprehensive project documentationAdhere to company project management processesAnalyze and review the project after completion to identify improvement opportunitiesShare project results and best practices within the team and companyParticipate in internal projects as requiredManages low-complexity projectsSubmit engineering prelim requestsAssists with verifying counts/design for upcoming projectsComplete low- to moderately-complex proposalsProvide day-to-day support to Project Managers and Senior Project ManagersKnowledge & Skills RequirementsHighly detail-oriented, ability to manage critical deadlinesAbility to multitask effectively & prioritize & execute tasksExperience in working both independently and in a team-oriented, collaborative environment is essentialAbility to work through project issues with customers in a timely mannerStrong written and oral communication skills: In-person meetings, email, phone callsMust be able to learn, understand, and apply new technologiesStrong technical aptitude – highly knowledgeable of industry systems including complex integrated systems and componentsBA/BS or equivalent experiencePROFESSIONAL QUALITIESFast-Paced Multi-TaskerAttention to DetailsStrong work ethicAbility to follow through with tasks given by colleagues and complete them on timeWORK CONDITIONSOffice & field oriented position with some overnight travel to project sites requiredOvertime will be required when neededWhy work for Storage Solutions?At Storage Solutions, our greatest asset is our people.
