Maintenance Technician - The Rylan Vintage Park - Houston, TX

Your RoleAs a Maintenance Technician, you will maintain the physical integrity of the community by ensuring a safe, secure, and comfortable living environment for residents, visitors, and staff maintenance responsibilities.What You Will DoDiagnose and perform minor or routine preventative maintenance or repair on all units and equipmentRemove and transfer heavy appliances and equipment from storage area to apartment (or vice versa) as circumstances warrantInspect and help coordinate all needed make-ready repairs and services of apartments after move outUse expert knowledge to abide by pertinent laws and EPA and OSHA regulations governing proper storage and management of hazardous materialsCreate and assist with work orders to ensure they are completed in a timely mannerSchedule vendors and contractors/responsible for curb appealEnsure all amenities and grounds are finished and ready for reviewWalk move-outs to assess damages/issues and reports results to the Maintenance SupervisorWhat You Will BringTwo or more years of experience in related fieldEPA, OSHA, Fair Housing, and pool certification requiredHigh school diploma or equivalent requiredAbility to use good judgment and possess strong problem-solving skillsWorks as part of a team, as well as completes assignments independentlyAbility to operate a computer, phone system and general office equipmentMust be able to take calls for emergency requestsMust have a valid driver’s license and daily transportation for getting supplies and other dutiesMay need to drive a golf cartCompany provided uniformsIND1What We OfferGreat benefits, including health insurance (medical, dental, and vision, behavioral health and more) on the first of the month following 30 days of employment401(k) Savings Plan (4% employer match; 100% vested immediately)Company paid life insurance (1x base salary)Paid Time Off package with a carryover provisionTraining and career development opportunitiesCompany Apparel Store allowanceWho We AreDavis Development is a privately owned luxury apartment developer and property management company with 25+ years in the industry and a best-in-class reputation.
