Unix/Linux System Administrator L3 with OpenShift

Job DescriptionWe are looking for a Unix/Linux Systems Administrator L3 with OpenShift experience to join our team!OpenShift experience is preferred but will accept Red hat Linux and Kubernetes if candidate does not have OpenShift. CISSP or Security Plus required. Active Secret Clearance RequiredResponsibilities include but are not limited to:Utilizing Remedy, work customer reported server/desktop support issuesCreating and maintaining standard operating instructionsAnalyze and resolve issues related to the network, infrastructure, and toolsPerform some analysis and assessment of server performance and storage capacity and planning for future needsPerform routine server/workstation O/S patching, upgrades, vulnerability/security management and file system maintenance, most of which will occur after-hours and on some weekends to avoid customer outagesUser account managementMaintain system documentationSuccessfully installing server systems and related hardwareSuccessfully interfacing with hardware service controllers and configuring for lights out managementSuccessfully installing and configuring operating systems, software applications and programsBasic QualificationsExperience with UNIX and Linux Systems Server Administration (i.e. Solaris 10/11, RHEL 5/6, VMWare) to include virtualized environmentsKnowledge of server networking to include configuration of various networking protocols, troubleshooting and performance monitoringKnowledge of operating system services managementKnowledge of Server security patching methodologies and management productsKnowledge of Server virus protection productsDesired QualificationsCurrent Security + and / or CISSP certificationFamiliarity with Microsoft WSUS and SCCM technologiesConfiguring EMC storage within AIX, Solaris 10/1, RHEL 5/6 and SUSE LinuxProven and demonstrated proficiency in daily server operations (e.g. account administration, file service management, and print services administration) to include infrastructure security managementMicrosoft, Cisco, UNIX or Linux professional certificationsNetwork administration skillsUnix server and desktop supportVeritas Netbackup experience; Shell scriptingProven ability to create documentation and reports using MS Word, Excel and Powerpoint. Demonstrated strong verbal & written communication and organization skills. Experience with successfully delivering documented procedures based on industry standards and best practices. Active DoD Secret (or above) clearanceExperience:Experience with systems administrators. Experience with working through intergration issues with new OS rollouts, upgrades, compliance and assisting customers with process issues. OS experience with RHWL7 through 9, Solaris 11 with zoning and AIX with LPAR experience. Experience with different LVMs and Scripting is a must.
