Program Manager

Elite Manufacturing Technologies LLC Location: Clinton Township, MI Job Type: Full-Time About Us Elite Manufacturing Technologies is a leading prototype and short-run production manufacturer specializing in precision sheet metal fabrication, stamping, welding, machining, and assemblies for the automotive, defense, aerospace, and industrial markets. We are seeking an experienced Program Manager to oversee customer programs from quote award through final delivery while serving as the primary liaison between our customers and internal departments. Position Summary The Program Manager is responsible for coordinating all aspects of customer programs including engineering, purchasing, scheduling, production, quality, and shipping. This position requires strong organizational skills, excellent customer communication, and the ability to manage multiple fast-paced prototype and short-run manufacturing projects simultaneously. Experience in prototype manufacturing and knowledge of E2 Shop System (Shoptech) ERP is highly preferred. Responsibilities Manage customer programs from project launch through completion Serve as the primary point of contact for assigned customer accounts Coordinate project activities between Engineering, Sales, Purchasing, Production, Quality, and Shipping Create and maintain project timelines to ensure on-time delivery Monitor project status and proactively communicate risks or schedule changes Review customer drawings, specifications, and engineering changes Enter and manage jobs utilizing E2 Shop System ERP Coordinate material availability and outside processing requirements Lead project kickoff meetings and customer update meetings Track engineering changes and revision control Manage prototype builds and transition into short-run production Monitor production progress and expedite critical jobs when necessary Work closely with scheduling to prioritize production based on customer requirements Resolve manufacturing issues while maintaining customer satisfaction Ensure customer quality requirements and delivery expectations are met Assist with quoting and cost reviews when required Maintain detailed program documentation and customer records Qualifications Minimum 3 years of Program Management experience in prototype or short-run manufacturing Experience within sheet metal fabrication, stamping, welding, machining, or metal assemblies Strong understanding of manufacturing processes including: Laser Cutting CNC Punching Press Brake Forming Welding (MIG, TIG, Spot) Hardware Installation Assembly Powder Coating and Finishing Experience using E2 Shop System (Shoptech) ERP preferred Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings Understanding of GD&T principles Strong Microsoft Office skills (Excel, Outlook, Word) Excellent organizational and time management skills Strong communication and customer service abilities Ability to prioritize multiple projects in a fast-paced environment Preferred Qualifications Automotive prototype manufacturing experience APQP experience PPAP knowledge ISO 9001 and IATF 16949 familiarity Understanding of manufacturing costing and scheduling Experience working with engineering change notices (ECNs) What We Offer Competitive salary based on experience Health, Dental & Vision Insurance 401(k) Paid Vacation & Holidays Stable, growing company with advancement opportunities Modern manufacturing facility Team-oriented work environment Benefits: Dental insurance Health insurance Life insurance Paid time off Vision insurance Work Location: In person
