Please let me know if you or any of your friends would be interested in this position.Position Details:Scheduler- San Rafael, CALocation : San Rafael, CA 94903Project Duration : 13 weeksSalary : $20/hr - $23/hrShift : Monday–Friday, approximately 7:00 a.m. – 3:30 p.m.Position SummaryThe Scheduler is responsible for coordinating and managing outpatient surgical case scheduling within the Ambulatory Surgery Center. This role supports approximately 20 surgeons across multiple specialties and serves as a central liaison between surgeons' offices, patients, anesthesia providers, and ASC clinical teams. The Scheduler ensures efficient use of operating room resources while maintaining compliance with regulatory and accreditation standards and delivering excellent customer service in a fast-paced outpatient surgical environment.Essential Duties and ResponsibilitiesSchedule and coordinate outpatient surgical procedures for approximately 20 surgeons across multiple specialties.Serve as a liaison between surgeons' offices, patients, anesthesia providers, and ASC clinical staff.Ensure all cases are scheduled in accordance with ASC policies, surgeon block utilization, and provider availability.Manage schedule adjustments, cancellations, and same-day add-on cases while maintaining optimal patient flow.Coordinate with anesthesia and nursing leadership to maximize daily case volume and operating room utilization.Maintain accurate and up-to-date scheduling data within the ASC scheduling system.Verify case details including procedure type, surgeon, estimated case length, equipment needs, and special requirements.Ensure compliance with regulatory, accreditation, and confidentiality standards, including HIPAA, CMS, and AAAHC/Joint Commission requirements, as applicable.Demonstrate flexibility, sound judgment, and problem-solving skills in a high-volume outpatient surgical setting.Provide excellent customer service as a front-facing representative of the ASC to patients, families, and physician offices.Communicate schedule changes promptly and clearly to all stakeholders.Perform additional administrative and scheduling-related duties as assigned by the Business Office Manager and/or Administrator.To discuss this amazing opportunity, reach out to our Talent Acquisition Specialist Nikhil Sai at email address can be reached on # (630) 576-1935.About generis tek: generis tek is a boutique it/professional staffing based in Chicago land.
