Cashier IThe role of the Cashier I is to provide exceptional customer and guest experiences while ensuring that all transactions meet company practices for revenue control.ResponsibilitiesProvide customer service and make exceptional guest experiences the priority in every transaction.Process transactions: cash, credit cards, checks, and validation transactions based upon location parking rates and requirements.Be able to use a radio to call the garage if the transaction must be processed manually.Document all transactions following company policy via shift report.Be accountable for all cash received and tendered, and disposition of such payment according to the money drop procedure.Maintain cleanliness of the cash register area daily.QualificationsYears of Experience: Entry LevelLanguage Skills: Proficient in English both verbally and writtenEducation Requirements: High School Diploma/GEDRequirements:Be able to read, write and verbally communicate in EnglishBe prepared to sit for long periods and walk short distancesPossess the manual dexterity to operate essential office equipment, including computers and cash registersPossess the mental ability to be able to process cash and manual transactionsAbility to lift a minimum of 50 poundsBe at least 18 years of ageSmile during every customer interactionMaintain uniform standards while around the accountBe able to pass a criminal background checkAbility to create relationships with customersOrganized, proficient with computers, and strong number skillsBenefits:Paid weeklyMedical, Dental, Vision401K with company matchDiscount programsShort-term disabilityAccident insuranceLife insuranceVPNE is a family-owned, fun, and rapidly growing company headquartered in the Greater Boston Area.
