Full Stack Engineer - Node, React.js

Full Stack Engineer – Contract | Remote U.S.We’re seeking a Full Stack Engineer to join a global enterprise technology organization on a contract engagement. This position is fully remote within the United States and will join a fast-moving product engineering environment supporting business-critical applications.The ideal candidate is a hands-on engineer who can work independently, collaborate effectively with Product and UX, and contribute across the full application stack using TypeScript, Node.js, React, SQL, AWS, and API integrations.Key ResponsibilitiesOwn hands-on full-stack development across TypeScript, Node.js, and React applications.Build and enhance customer-facing and internal application functionality.Develop and maintain backend services, APIs, and integrations.Coordinate development activities across a small, distributed engineering team.Troubleshoot production issues and help maintain application stability and performance.Partner closely with Product Management and UX to translate requirements and designs into working software.Proactively identify technical issues and drive solutions with limited oversight.Required Qualifications4+ years of full-stack software development experience.Strong TypeScript and Node.js experience, including backend services, APIs, and asynchronous programming patterns.Hands-on React experience developing and modifying front-end functionality.Experience with SQL, AWS, and complex API integrations.Demonstrated ability to work independently in a fast-paced, distributed environment.Strong problem-solving and cross-functional communication skills.Nice to HaveExperience with modern Node.js/React frameworks.Cloud deployment and DevOps experience.Experience supporting production applications.Previous experience coordinating development efforts across distributed teams.Engagement DetailsDuration: 6-month contractLocation: Fully remote within the U.S.Pay: $60–$65/hourBenefits: Medical, Dental and Vision insurance; 401(k) programUnable to sponsor or work with C2C for this role.
