Electrical Mechanical Assembler The primary purpose of the Electrical / Mechanical Assembler is to assemble electrical and sheet metal sub-assemblies using a variety of special tools and fixtures to move products to the next level of production.Responsibilities Build all components to customer specifications.Work includes assembly of electrical components, assembly of sheet metal parts, soldering glass into cases, and induction brazing.Review electrical drawings for capability of quoting new work.Perform soldering of glass into cases and induction brazing.Perform other duties as needed.Essential Skills Minimum of one year experience working in aerospace manufacturing.Two years experience assembling electrical components.Two years soldering experience.Minimum of one year of mechanical assembly experience.Strong understanding of electrical and mechanical schematics.Ability to take directions and work independently or within a production cell.Must have a high school diploma or equivalent.Proficiency in reading and speaking fluent English.Additional Skills & Qualifications Experience working with epoxy and adhesives for assemblies is a plus.Experience working with glass for cockpit displays is a plus.Induction brazing experience is a plus.Why Work Here? Employees must be able to perform visual inspections of products to corrected vision of 20/20, lift 40 lbs regularly, and stand or sit for long periods. Personal protective equipment (PPE) is required as necessary, and employees must be willing to work overtime when required.Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Phoenix, AZ.Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $24.00 - $24.00/hr.
