Forklift Warehouse Worker

Job Description We are seeking a dependable and safety-focused Forklift Warehouse Worker to support daily operations in a fast-paced freight and logistics warehouse. This role is responsible for operating forklifts and other warehouse equipment to load, unload, move, stage, and organize freight while ensuring accuracy, efficiency, and compliance with safety procedures. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, able to work in a team environment, and experienced in warehouse logistics and material handling.Key ResponsibilitiesOperate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other warehouse equipment safely and efficiently.Load and unload freight from trucks, trailers, and containers.Move, stack, stage, and organize products within the warehouse.Verify incoming and outgoing shipments for accuracy and damage.Pick, pack, label, and prepare orders for shipment.Maintain inventory accuracy through scanning and warehouse management systems.Secure freight and ensure proper handling of materials during transport.Follow OSHA regulations and company safety procedures at all times.Assist with warehouse cleanliness and organization.Communicate with supervisors, drivers, and warehouse staff regarding shipment status and workflow.Support shipping and receiving operations to meet daily productivity goals.QualificationsPrevious forklift and warehouse experience preferred.Valid forklift certification or willingness to obtain certification.Experience in freight, logistics, distribution, or shipping environments preferred.Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods.Basic computer and inventory system knowledge.Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.Ability to work independently and as part of a team.Reliable attendance and strong work ethic.Preferred SkillsExperience with RF scanners and warehouse management systems (WMS).Knowledge of freight handling, shipping documentation, and inventory control.Experience operating stand-up, sit-down, reach truck, or clamp forklifts.Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.Company DescriptionClean work environment,Friendly staff,Growing OrganizationCompany DescriptionClean work environment,\r\nFriendly staff,\r\nGrowing Organization
